If you or someone you know in Tripp, Todd, Gregory, or Mellette County is currently facing gynecologic, prostate, or colon cancer, Winner Regional Health may be able to help.

Through the continued support of our community and funds raised during our annual Labor Day Race, we’re offering financial assistance to help cover expenses such as medical treatment, travel, or other cancer-related needs.

Hydration Is Key—Especially in the Heat!
As temps rise, so does your risk for heat exhaustion or heat stroke. Here are some ways to stay safe in the South Dakota heat:

✔️ Drink water every 15–20 minutes when outdoors
✔️ Avoid caffeine or alcohol, which dehydrate you
✔️ Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning
✔️ Watch for signs of dizziness, nausea, or rapid heartbeat

If you or someone you know experiences signs of heat stroke, call 911 or go directly to the ER.

It’s important to know when to visit the ER and when the Clinic is the better option. Here's a quick guide:

Cold & flu symptoms
Minor injuries (sprains, cuts)
Medication refills
Skin rashes or infections

Emergency Room:

Chest pain or difficulty breathing
Severe bleeding
Sudden numbness or slurred speech
Serious injuries or head trauma
