As Direct Support Professional Week comes to an end, we would like to extend one more thanks to all for the hard work they do each day. We would also like to take this opportunity to recognize three outstanding individuals who go above and beyond every day. Each year we look for two DSP’s who are Simply the Best and one DSP who is a Rising Star at CCI. Paul Dansman, Kurt Bowers, and Heather Russell have been nominated by their coworkers for always keeping the Mission of Community Connections in the forefront of what they do, for always being willing to help, and for going above and beyond every day. These three individuals have been with us a short time, and ironically enough, this is the first time any of them have worked in this field. They have all taken to it well and do a wonderful job promoting independence for individuals in everything they do. We appreciate everything they do and want to congratulate them on a job well done!
