Our Story

“Healthy Bodies & Healthy Brains”

I am a Health Coach and Special Education Advocate. I help families become healthy with a unique focus on exercise, nutrition and special education.

As of March 2019 I have been declared “clinically non-diabetic” for the 2nd time. I have reversed diabetes twice and I can help you reverse yours!

I have been described as an amazing instructor in Aquatics and Fitness. I teach all ages in swimming lessons, aquatic exercise, land exercise, chair exercise, weight loss, nutrition, and diabetes support. I have been teaching swimming lessons since I was 10 years old. I currently work at the West Valley YMCA and teach Aquatic Exercise, Arthritis Chair Exercise and Balance and Mobility classes. I have had experience teaching all ages from 6 months to adults, and all ability levels including special needs and chronic health conditions. I have my BA in Kinesiology, with ARC training in life-guarding, CPR, and First Aid. I am a certified personal trainer and have worked in the fitness industry since 1984. I have recovered from diabetes twice and I know what it takes to help you with your health challenges. I have two special needs children and a great understanding of how to work with individuals who have special needs and medical conditions. I have experience teaching children with Autism, ADD/ADHD, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, SMA, and many other challenges. Please contact me for more details.
