Winn Family Medicine Winn Family Medicine is now closed. Winn Family Medicine accepts most commercial and Medicare plans. We do see patients who have no medical insurance.

If you want to verify that we are in network with your plan, please call our office and ask to speak with Jan. We do NOT accept Medicaid due to the extraordinary amount of work that Medicaid plans require for authorizations, referrals, and prescriptions. Patients who have only Medicaid OR have Medicaid as a secondary plan (unless Medicare is their primary insurance) will not be seen -- even if the

y are willing to pay for the visit. Those patients are considered self-pay, and payment MUST be received at the time of service.

After twenty years of practice and service to Winn parish, it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce closure of Winn Family Medicine. I will be closing as of the end of April 2024. I will be sending out letters detailing that in the coming weeks to my active patients. I will be moving my practice to Hardtner Medical Center in Urania at 15712 highway 165 Olla, LA 71465. I will be happy to continue to attend to you and your family professionally, if possible. If not, we will be happy to make your records available to you or another physician of your choice with written authorization. It has been a privilege and an honor serving you.

Effective Wednesday, January 10,2024, we will have new clinic hours. Our new hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am-5pm. On Wednesdays we will be open 8am-12pm. Our lab will be open during all clinic hours.

In light of recent events, Dr Dupree is the only provider at this time. We are doing our best to accommodate as many patients in the day as we can. In the interest with the most effieciency, patients please try to be concise as possible with visit complaints so that we might be able to serve you better.
