Yesterday we were pleased to provide a tour of our medical center in Winnie to James Davidson and Troy Picard with Sabine Heights, formerly known as Cascades on 9th in Port Arthur.

We are fortunate to have numerous residents from their nursing and rehabilitation center participate in our Intensive Outpatient Program and always welcome opportunities to strengthen and expand our partnership.

Our medical center offers a 24/7 emergency room, inpatient beds, primary care clinics, an Intensive Outpatient Program for behavioral health related concerns, and a full service laboratory, allowing us to provide comprehensive care close to home for Southeast Texas families.

Yesterday, 27 nurses at our Surgery Center were treated to lunch prepared by T’s BBQ & Blues in recognition of Nurses Appreciation Week.

We are incredibly fortunate to have a great team caring for patients and supporting a high volume of outpatient surgical procedures each week.

Fun fact: our 11th Street Campus in Beaumont, which houses our surgery and imaging facilities, will soon also include both a sleep center and cancer center.

Last week, our staff at the medical center in Winnie enjoyed delicious food and treats as we celebrated our nurses and the incredible care they provide to patients every single day.

The success of our organization is tied directly to the team we have built and the hometown feel every patient experiences when they walk through our doors. We are grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and dedication our nurses bring to the community each day.

We were happy to support this event and appreciate the hard work of the team at Vidor Nursing & Rehab, including Administrator Wendy Jeselink, DON Katherine Minchew, and Social Worker Danielle Smith. Rain or shine, we were proud to show our support for Boys’ Haven at their annual crawfish festival as a Bronze Sponsor.

For decades, Boys’ Haven has provided a safe, structured environment for young men in Southeast Texas who come from difficult circumstances including troubled homes, foster care, and the juvenile justice system. Through residential care, counseling, education, and life skills training, they help guide young men toward becoming responsible and successful adults.

Organizations like Boys’ Haven make a lasting difference in our community, and we are honored to support their mission and the important work they do every day. One of our priorities is investing the success of Riceland back into the community that has made it possible for us to continue delivering quality healthcare close to home.
