Nothing says thank you like pancakes with all the toppings! 🥞💛 This morning, we celebrated Staff Appreciation with a mini pancake bar, complete with plenty of sweet treats. We’re so grateful for our amazing team and the love they pour into caring for our residents each day!

Chair Yoga is one of our favorite ways to stay moving here at Avir at Winnsboro! 🧘‍♀️💛 This morning’s session was filled with gentle stretches, wellness, and plenty of laughter. Staying active together keeps both body and spirit strong!

Thankful for our friends at American Legion Post 243, VFW Post 3992, and VFW Post 5398, with their help, we were able to pass the remaining school supplies out to our local schools.

Exciting News for Our Community!

As of August 1st, our home has joined the Avir Health Group family. While we have retired the name Whispering Pines, what makes us special remains unchanged — the same friendly faces, the same dedicated team, and the same commitment to exceptional care for our residents.

This partnership allows us to bring even more resources and support to our staff and residents, while keeping the warm, welcoming environment you’ve always known and loved.

Last week our friends at UT Health Physicians and Heritage Hospice and Home Health helped us host an awesome Back to School Bash at our home. Our friends at Chambers Home Health and Hospice also joined in on the fun providing cotton candy and making a school supplies run when we ran out of items. Thank you so much to our friends at UT Health for providing the bounce house and tent, and for also making school supplies runs. And we love and thank our friends at Heritage for providing/cooking hot dogs, helping with school supplies and the dancing! Also, we would like to thank Mt. Vernon American Legion Post 243, VFW 3992 Cypress Springs and Pittsburg VFW 5398 for all of their dedication to our kids! They helped with hosting our Bike run that provided most of the free school supplies for the event! It was a very hot day but it was an amazing event!

Our 2nd Annual Bike, Jeep and Friends Run was a HUGE SUCCESS! We raised a lot of money and got a ton of school supplies for our local schools! Thank you to all who came out and we hope to see you again next year!
