Plantation Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, LLC is located in a quiet residential area of Winnsboro set back on Macon Ridge overlooking beautifully landscaped grounds for your safety and peace of mind. Franklin Parish Medical Center, numerous doctors’ offices, and the offices of other health care professionals are only minutes away. The warm and friendly atmosphere experienced here reflects the long tradition of quality care that was begun long ago when Mrs. Ollie Riley brought two elderly people who had no place to go into her home for nursing care, a tradition based upon our belief that what counts most in a nursing facility is resident care. Our interdisciplinary team works together with each resident’s doctor and associated health care professionals to develop a plan of care tailored to meet the specific needs of each resident. This plan of care is implemented by a dedicated, professional staff trained to meet the highest standards of excellence, while being sensitive to the emotional needs of our residents. Our commitment to Improving Quality of Life is not a passing fad or empty slogan. It is found in every facility, in every administrator and in every department. At Plantation Manor, we take our responsibility to be good stewards seriously and put our resources where our priorities are. Join us at Plantation Manor this April as we focus on Vocational Wellness! This month, we're excited to offer a variety of life enrichment activities focused on passions and purpose.

What is Vocational Wellness?
Vocational wellness involves finding personal fulfillment and satisfaction in your work or daily activities, regardless of age. It's about engaging in meaningful tasks and activities that contribute to your sense of identity and community.

Why is it Important and part of our Life Enrichment Life Works Program?
For seniors, vocational wellness plays a crucial role in maintaining mental and emotional health. It encourages social interaction, boosts self-esteem, and fosters a sense of accomplishment. Engaging in purposeful activities can lead to a more fulfilling and enriched life.

We had an egg-cellent time hosting our Head Start Easter Egg Hunt with our sweet three- and four-year-olds! 💕 Teachers, staff, and family members all came together to help make this day extra special.

The children enjoyed hunting for colorful eggs, winning fun prizes, and sharing smiles over delicious food. It was such a joy to see everyone laughing, playing, and celebrating together! 🐣
