WSU Minnesota Student Nursing Association (MSNA)

WSU Minnesota Student Nursing Association (MSNA) Founded in 1952, NSNA is a nonprofit organization for students enrolled in associate, baccalaureate, diploma, and generic graduate nursing programs.

The mission of Minnesota Student Nurses’ Association is to provide a pre-professional organization that will support nursing students as they complete their education and prepare for their career. MSNA is an association within NSNA (National Student Nurses' Association)

NSNA’s mission is to mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses, and to convey the standards, ethics,

and skills that students will need as responsible and accountable leaders and members of the profession. It is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students. The organization has over 60,000 members in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. MSNA at Winona:

We hold monthly meetings where a wide variety of registered nursing speakers present on their personal profession, everything from Flight Nursing to Pediatric Intensive Care Units. We also hold semi-annual clothing orders dedicated to Winona Nurses/Pre-Nursing Majors as well. MSNA also initiates the stethoscope sales every semester for the incoming Term 1 students. Any nursing majors be that in the program, or your very first day of college can join our organization. If you have any questions please feel free to message this Facebook Group or come to any of our monthly meetings where we will be more than happy to answer any questions.
