Welcome to EMS Week 2026. I feel like we kicked it off in a big way with a strong turnout at yesterday’s family picnic. Between employees and their families, we had over 120 people in attendance. There was great food, great fellowship, softball, co****le, axe throwing, music, a playground for the kids, and more than 40 giveaway prizes.
This was a first for us. While there were some initial concerns, we brought three brands together as one—something that truly reflects the 2026 National EMS theme: “Improving Outcomes, Together.”
I understand that many of you couldn’t attend due to travel distance, work, or other commitments, and those are fully respected. Please know that this is just one part of celebrating you. I, along with other local and regional leaders, will be visiting stations throughout the week to spend time with you and continue that fellowship.
As I stepped back and observed, I saw people connecting with coworkers they had never met, despite working for the same organization. I saw adults laughing and enjoying themselves like kids again. I watched our children form new friendships and create lasting memories as they played without a care.
Most importantly, through my eyes, I saw one EMS family.
That brought me a great deal of pride and excitement, and it reminded me how honored I am to be part of this team—and how grateful I am for the trust you place in me as your leader.

In honor of National Administrative Professionals Day, we would like to spotlight Pam Daniels-Younger. Simply put, without Pam, we would fall apart. From AR and AP to supply orders and maintaining the inventory that keeps our crews on the road, Pam does it all. And most importantly, she makes sure the candy jar in her office is always full!
Pam has been a true mainstay for the past 10 years. She's our go-to person for Touch-a-Truck events, show-and-tells, and all the fun events that bring smiles to our kids' faces.
Pam, we are truly blessed to have you on our team. Thank you for everything you do! 🚑

🌟Spotlight on Excellence: Cassie McElroy🌟

Please join us in celebrating Cassie McElroy, a 15-year veteran of MedStat EMS Communications! Cassie currently serves as the Communications Center Supervisor for MedStat, AMR Natchez, and Lifeguard Marshall County in Mississippi.

Cassie leads the Comm Center in Winona, MS, which also supports Natchez. Over the past five months, she has gone above and beyond - traveling to Natchez, meeting with leadership, and educating facilities on how to access our services. Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to high standards have made a lasting impact.

Cassie has transformed the Winona center into what many consider the best communications center in decades of service. Her leadership is a shining example of what it means to serve with excellence.

A massive THANK YOU to our dedicated medical and emergency teams for their incredible work this past weekend!
We were honored to cover the first sold-out Mississippi State University football game since 2014! With a record-breaking crowd, our crew was on-site, ready for any challenge, ensuring every fan's safety and well-being throughout the tailgate and stadium.
