MedStat’s parent company Global Medical Response (GMR) announces role as one of the North American launch customers for Airbus newly developed helicopter built specifically for air medical transport. With 10 aircraft already in order, GMR is thrilled to bring this innovation to the skies in 2029.

Big news! We are proud to announce our role as one of the North American launch customers for Airbus’s newly developed helicopter, built specifically for air medical transport. This aircraft was designed with direct input from our own pilots, clinicians and maintenance experts to meet the demands of lifesaving missions. It offers more space, smoother rides, improved safety features and better access for patient care. With 10 aircraft already in order, we are thrilled to bring this innovation to the skies in 2029.

Early today is your day to get prepared and check on disabled and elderly friends and family for any needs before the weather deteriorates.
Good advice from MEMA on staying off the roads. If you must venture out, use these safety precautions.

Roads could become treacherous in some areas of the state as winter weather moves through this week. We encourage everyone to stay at home. But if you MUST travel, here are some tips to keep you safe on the icy roads.
*Slow Down
*Do not use cruise control
*Avoid sudden movements
*Check tire tread, tire pressure, brakes, and windshield wipers BEFORE driving
*Leave plenty of distance between your car and other vehicles
*Don't forget your Emergency Kit
Follow our friends at the Mississippi Department of Transportation for the latest travel conditions.
