The Phyllis A. McClenathan Nursing Scholarship was created to honor a long-time Winona Health Family Birth Center nurse whose compassion shaped families and futures. Through the generosity of the Winona Health Foundation and donors, this fund provides financial support and recognition to a nursing student stepping into their final year — someone ready to carry that same heart for care forward.

The Winona Health Foundation is inviting the community to nominate a deserving individual (or individuals) for the Ben & Adith Miller Community Service Tribute. This honor recognizes those who have made a clear impact through notable acts of service over time—whether through innovation, advocacy, generosity of time, spirit, energy and/or charitable donations.

Last year’s honoree, Sandra Burke, was recognized for leading by example and being “part of the action when it comes to helping Winona thrive.” That same spirit of service is what this tribute celebrates.
