Heartbreaking News: As of late February, the CDC has reported that 71 children in the U.S. have died of flu this season. Of those children lost, 90% could have been vaccinated, but were not.

This devastating loss reminds us how important prevention is. Please ensure your children (6 months and older) receive their flu vaccine and practice good hygiene habits. It is NOT too late in the season to get your flu vaccine.

We want to reassure our community that LCMC will continue to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) insurance.

Beginning July 1, LCMC will be considered out-of-network with BCBS; however, patients with BCBS coverage can still receive care at Little Colorado Medical Center, Little Colorado Physicians Office, and Little Colorado Physical Therapy.

Out-of-network simply means your insurance plan may process benefits differently and patient responsibility may be higher depending on your individual plan.
