Summer checklist!
A few gentle ways to take care of your body as the season changes:
• Get outside early in the day for sunlight + fresh air
• Hydrate before you feel thirsty
• Stretch the muscles that tighten from long drives, travel, and summer activities
• Prioritize sleep even when the days feel longer
• Eat foods that actually make you feel energized, not sluggish
• Move your body in ways that feel good, not punishing
• Protect your nervous system from constant overstimulation
• Take breaks. Your body notices when you never slow down
• Wear the sunscreen. Please.
• Don’t ignore the little aches and tension before they become bigger problems
And of course… a little seasonal nervous system tune-up with your chiropractor never hurts 🤍
