Hey friends,
With the storm moving through, both CasaShanti and Oasis are closed. I know many of you are at home too, tucked in, listening to the quiet that only comes with weather like this.
I wanted to reach out and gently remind you to take care of yourself today.
This kind of weather is an invitation to slow down.
Light a candle, even if it’s just one, and let the glow soften the space around you. Brew a pot of tea, something warm and comforting, and let yourself linger with it. Wrap up in layers, put your feet up, and give your nervous system a break.
It’s also a beautiful time for small, simple rituals.
Pull out a journal, do a craft you’ve been meaning to finish, organize your altar, read a few pages of a book that feeds your spirit. Let this be “you time” without guilt. Rest is not wasted time. It’s how we recharge.
If the power flickers or goes out, keep things gentle. Blankets, quiet music, early rest.
Trust that doing less is enough today.
Storms have always been moments to turn inward, to tend the hearth, both literally and energetically. However you choose to spend it, I hope this energy can bring you a sense of calm, warmth, and grounding.
We’ll be back as soon as the weather allows.
Until then, stay safe, stay cozy, and
be kind to yourself.
With warmth,
Zachari

Storm Energy Alignment Magic
Step 1:
Light a candle and take a moment to arrive in your body. Notice the weather outside and the atmosphere inside your space. State one boundary you want strengthened or one thing you wish to keep steady as the storm moves through. Keep it simple and true.
Step 2:
Speak your intention softly, aloud or in your mind, while the storm is active. Imagine the ice sealing your boundary and the snow holding it in place. There is no need to repeat yourself. One clear intention is enough.
Step 3:
Extinguish the candle with care and shift into rest. Trust that the storm carries and reinforces the work without further effort from you. Let stillness finish what you began.
