In recent years, after becoming certified in post-operative manual lymphatic drainage massage, I have noticed that many of my clients experience "water weight" swelling or lymphatic fluid buildup in their bodies. When I begin working on an area, they often exhibit high sensitivity, but after a few minutes, they request more pressure than before. As a result, their pain and general soreness improve significantly. Many clients have also mentioned that their joint discomfort has lessened, along with other factors that previously caused discomfort or hindered proper body function. Furthermore, during the intake process before their sessions, an increasing number of clients have reported recent changes in prescriptions, including elimination or reduction of blood pressure medication.
These observations, along with the changes reported by clients and their overall health improvements, sparked my interest in researching the correlation between the lymphatic system and its impact on the body. Despite having taken various classes over the years, none had delved deeply into the lymphatic system and its effects beyond its individual function. The remarkable outcomes achieved by focusing on lymph flow continue to both impress me and benefit my clients. Since incorporating lymphatic drainage into all my services, rather than just scheduling standard lymphatic massages, I have witnessed significant positive responses from clients during their sessions.
Recently, I came across an article highlighting the crucial role of the lymphatic system in cardiovascular health. I urge everyone to read it and explore ways to address their own lymph drainage for optimal benefits. During my sessions, I am more than happy to educate and assist clients in improving their body's drainage. Feel free to ask questions, as I am here to help you better understand how we can work together to benefit your body while enhancing your overall well-being.
