๐ Feeling Those Baby Movements in the Third Trimester ๐
By the third trimester, youโve probably gotten used to those little kicks, jabs, and rolls โ itโs your babyโs special way of saying โhi!โ ๐ฃ๐
๐ Counting Movements:
Start tracking your babyโs movements around the same time each day. A good rule of thumb is that you should feel at least 10 movements within 2 hours โ though most babies move much faster than that!
โจ Tips for Counting Kicks:
Pick a time when your baby is usually active.
Sit or lie quietly on your side.
Count every movement โ kicks, flutters, rolls, or swishes.
๐จ When to Call Your Provider:
If you notice a significant decrease in your babyโs movements or canโt feel 10 movements in 2 hours, donโt wait โ contact your healthcare provider right away. Sometimes itโs nothing, but itโs always best to check in to make sure both you and your baby are doing well. ๐
Your babyโs movements are one of the best signs of their well-being โ trust your instincts and never hesitate to reach out for reassurance. ๐
