Paranormal Investigation

Have you ever wondered if a doll could be haunted? Or perhaps an old beloved toy with an attachment? Join the Charlotte Area Paranormal Society “CAPS” at the NC Museum of Dolls, Toys and Miniatures for the Museum’s 2nd Annual limited access ghost hunt/tour.

The evening will start with lite refreshments, a CAPS presentation on haunted objects/attachments, and explanation of equipment guests will use for the investigation.

The guests will then breakup into small groups and join a CAPS member who will demonstrate their own personal equipment and proceed to designated areas where “spirited” dolls have been identified.

A group discussion and Q&A will wrap up the evening as well a drawing for a special prize.

This event is offered ONLY to adults over 18 years of age. The tours will run the night of Saturday, October 18, 2025. Please go to the museum website NCMDTM.ORG (Events/Spookytober/Haunted Museum Tour) to reserve your space for this very “spirited”event.

We found these dolls that have an attachment. They belonged to a recently deceased couple. The energy is very strong but does not appear to be malevolent. The heirs of the dolls are ready to sell. Let us know if interested in purchasing.

The haunted St. Augustine Lighthouse is one of my favorite locations. I felt the spirit energy of one of the little girls that drowned pass through my legs as I walked down the stairs. As the ghost made it’s way down the stairs, each of the K2 meters held by the investigators started going off one by one. It was amazing!
