Happy Mother’s Day to all who mother in the many ways love takes shape.
To those raising children, nurturing dreams, caring for family, holding friends through hard seasons, tending to community, offering wisdom, softness, strength, steadiness, truth- today honors you too. Mothering is not only a role, but an energy: the sacred act of pouring into life with care.
At Synergy Winston-Salem, we believe wellness was never meant to happen in isolation. Healing asks for spaces where we feel seen, supported, heard, and safe enough to be our whole and powerful selves. It asks for community. It asks for care.
There have been seasons in building this business while becoming a mother when I questioned how both could coexist. Seasons of feeling stretched thin (beyond 😅), of wondering if I had asked too much of myself by loving two callings that each require so much.
But year after year, I’ve come to understand this path to opening a brick and mortar space that’s come to feel like home arrived in divine timing. Motherhood did not take me away from leadership, it deepened it. It teaches me how to pivot, problem solve, trust intuition, hold complexity, lead with compassion, and build from alignment of equal parts head and heart.
Now, as my daughter steps into year five, I can see more clearly than ever: the love that shapes a mother is the same love that shapes true community.
Thank you for allowing Synergy to be a place where we care for one another, grow stronger together, endure together, soften together, and remember that unwavering belief in and support of each other, and ourselves, is strength.
