Join us for the 10th annual Mutt Strut -- get active and participate in a wonderful fundraiser for the Forsyth Humane Society. Brookridge is proud to be a Bronze Sponsor this year.

It will take place Saturday, April 25 at the Tanglewood band shell.
Check in is 8 a.m. and the walk begins 9 a.m.

Today at Brookridge, residents gathered to take part in a virtual Candoo Tech training focused on the basics of using an iPhone. Sitting together and learning at a shared pace, residents joined a live Zoom session led by a Candoo Tech team member who walked through foundational skills and answered questions along the way.

“Hopefully, it’ll help because I don’t do much on my phone because I don’t know how to use it,” said Brookridge resident Bobbie Garcia. After attending the session, she plans to schedule a one‑on‑one training to get personalized support once she has a clearer sense of what she’d like help with.

What made today’s session meaningful is that learning happened without pressure, with patience and encouragement at the center. That kind of support builds confidence and helps residents feel more comfortable navigating a digital world that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

Through live group lessons, recorded sessions and personalized one‑on‑one support, ThriveMore’s partnership with Candoo Tech is helping residents build skills that support connection, independence and everyday life.
