The House has passed the “Big Beautiful Bill,” and it will have grave consequences for healthcare in America. House Bill 67 was signed into law by Governor Josh Stein this morning, July 1, 2025.

This bill modernizes team-based PA care in NC and allows NC into PA State Licensure Compact.

Thank you to our Senators, Representatives, NCAPA leaders, and Gov. Stein for helping this bill become law.

It's an exciting time to be a PA in NC!
