JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the professional and efficient staffing of all clients, staff recruitment, the recruitment and management of new client referrals, client outreach, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support consumer services, information and referral and the operation of a professional office environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

MAIN JOB TASKS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, complete and follow up on all client referrals until approval to commencement of service.

Maintain hiring and termination of home care, companion, sitter and respite services staff.

Ensure employee background checks, OIG, Nurse Aide Registry checks and TB Skin Test are completed prior to staffing.

Responsible for ensuring that all home care, companion, sitter and respite care shifts are staffed.

Quality Assurance: evaluation of the client’s level of satisfaction with home services.

Schedule Quarterly In-Service training and staff meetings and maintain records.

Recruitment of new clients through various referral sources and personal initiative.

Identify community health needs and recommend appropriate programs and policies

Address queries from the public and clients and provide accurate information.

Ensure compliance with Agency’s policies and procedures by all staff.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports as needed.

Maintain strict confidentiality of all job-related matters.

REQUIRED Experience

Experience (at least 2 years experience staffing for a home care agency or working with a staffing agency);

**Must have at least 2 years customer service experience interacting with the public;

Four years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsible for timely and accurate submission of claims via billing portals, reconcile claims weekly, follow up on denials immediately;

Responsible for monitoring and managing the timely and accurate clocking in and out of field staff in an effort to ensure quality assurance and accurate billing and payroll practices;

Responsible for timely and accurate submission of PACE and VA claims weekly;

Create invoices for private pay services weekly;

Complete wage verification forms;

Audit billing quarterly;

Appropriately and accurately prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll for processing;

Manage all areas relating to billing and payroll;

Ensure compliance with Agency’s policies and procedures by all staff;

Qualifications and Skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Training
