February is not a warm-up. It is a threshold.

Vision turns into pressure, and pressure forces choice. The Year of the Fire Horse brings speed, boldness, and a refusal to wait for permission. Momentum favors action, but impulse without direction burns fast.

January asked what you want.
February asks if you can carry it once things accelerate.

Move with intention. Not everything that feels urgent is aligned.

Tonight, we hung a scarf in the tree for Brigid.

An Imbolc custom. On the eve of Imbolc, a piece of cloth is left outside. On a door, a fence, a branch. Brigid walks the land tonight. As she passes through, the cloth is blessed.

By morning, we take it in and keep for the year. Used for protection. For healing. For the home and those who live within it.

Imbolc marks the shift. The light turning back. The first stirring beneath the soil. Not spring yet, but the promise of it.

So the scarf hangs where she may pass.
And we mark the threshold.
