There is no routine for what to do if a patient loses their home to a fire. Yet - our amazing volunteers jumped in and came to the rescue. With a call to action, our volunteers donated food, clothing, personal hygiene items, and more that were delivered to the patient’s temporary home. We could not do the work we do without the love and support of our volunteers. April is National Volunteer Appreciation month and we can’t say THANK YOU enough! 🙏🏼

It’s not every day that we get to celebrate a 105th birthday 🎉 Our volunteer, Skip, and our volunteer coordinator, John, had the honor of delivering some birthday cheer to a patient celebrating 105 years! A huge birthday card, a little cake, and a lot of kindness.

Zion Church at Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury for hosting our Advance Care Planning Workshop. 33 people attend, and now they have the peace of mind that comes with planning ahead, selecting a Healthcare Power of Attorney and Completing a Living Will. We offer these workshops free of charge and welcome your invitation to share with your group.

The loss of a child can be unbearable, and we would like to help. We are offering a Child Loss Connect Group (2nd Thursdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm) on April 9, May 14, and June 11. This is an opportunity to connect with others who have experienced the loss of a child, and to gain some support and coping tools. Trellis offers these groups free of charge.
