This warm smile belongs to our wonderful Aquilla Miller. Aquilla is the person who greets people when they come to our Education and Counseling Center at our Winston-Salem Campus. Many who visit are coming for grief counseling appointments or support groups. She is also the soft voice at the other end of the phone for many who call to ask for support. National Caregivers Day is a time to honor the incredible dedication of those who care for their loved ones every day. Being a caregiver is a role often born out of deep love and the desire to be there for family, but we know it can also feel overwhelming and exhausting.

If you are feeling lost or "on the fence" about asking for help, please know that seeking support isn't a sign of weakness—it is a gift to yourself and those you care for. You don't have to walk this journey alone. We are here to support the "whole you" and help you find the courage to keep going.
