BAYADA client Aspen finally made her way home after 322 days in the NICU. She is now reunited with her big sister and twin, who are both equally excited to have her home. Through every challenge, Aspen showed incredible strength and is ready to begin her next chapter outside the walls of the hospital.

We are grateful for all the BAYADA nurses—including Ashlee, Alyssa, Schonda, Katelyn, Stacey, and Nicole—who worked together to prepare Aspen and her family for this transition and to ensure she has the care she needs. We look forward to Aspen’s journey and to all the milestones and memories she will make at home, where she belongs. ❤️

After sustaining multiple traumatic injuries in a car accident and spending years on the couch, Joel discovered Brooks Adaptive Sports. He took a Learn to Row class at an able-bodied club and continues to train with Brooks Adaptive today. Joel’s story reminds us that with determination, you can thrive.

At 72, Nancy has been legally blind since birth, but that’s never stopped her. Through Western Pennsylvania BOLD and Three Rivers Rowing Association, she found her passion for rowing.

Since 2012, she’s competed at the BAYADA Regatta, earning medals, friendships, and admiration from her team.

With the support of his dedicated care team, BAYADA client Camryn has made incredible progress and had his trach removed (a process called decannulation) just a few months ago. Today, he continues to thrive—so much so that he is now graduating from our services.

Today marks an important milestone in BAYADA’s 50-year journey.

After eight years of visionary leadership, David Baiada will transition out of the CEO role and join BAYADA’s Board of Directors upon the appointment of our next CEO. He will also serve as an advisor during the transition, ensuring continuity in leadership and in the care we provide.

The Board has begun a thoughtful search for our next CEO, the first outside the Baiada family, who will carry forward our mission, values, and legacy for the decades ahead.

During his tenure, David has embodied The BAYADA Way® - our commitment to compassion, excellence, and reliability – while guiding us through extraordinary growth, driving innovation, and leading with compassion through challenges like the global pandemic.
