Winston Salem North Carolina Forsyth County (county seat) Winston-Salem is a community of 229,617 located north of Charlotte, near the Virginia border. Best known for the R.

Although Salem was founded in 1766, the towns of Winston and Salem did not merge until 1889, soon after R.J. Reynolds started his company in the vicinity. J Reynolds company, many other well known companies got their start in Winston-Salem as well, including Krispy Creme Doughnuts and Texas Pete Hot Sauces. The Salem and Bethabara Historic Districts are preserved in Winston-Salem, and the excitement of college life lives here with Wake Forest and Winston-Salem University nearby.

Join us for "MJ the Musical" at Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, February 23. Attendees can choose to purchase orchestra seats and bus ticket for $200 or balcony seats and bus ticket for $140. Buses will depart from Brown & Douglas Active Adult Center at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 6:30 p.m. Event only tickets are also available.
