With the ice and low temperatures outside, Koru Touch has been in a winter pause—an invitation to tend the space with care and intention. ❄️

I spent the day in a deep cleanse of my treatment room—laundering, organizing, wiping, resetting, and what I often call polishing the magic lamp—preparing the space to receive new guests, energies, and opportunities with clarity and ease.

To complete the integration, I closed with ceremony.
I smudged with Desert Piñon and washed the floors with Bhutanese Cypress, plant allies I experience as protective, grounding, and clarifying.

For me, smudging is an essential part of energetic hygiene. It clears stagnant or unwanted residue, restores coherence to the room, and allows each guest to enter a space that feels calm, clean, and held.

Energy healing begins before a session ever starts. When I tune my own heart and nervous system into steadiness and peace, that frequency becomes available to those who enter the room—supporting comfort, release, and uplift on both physical and energetic levels.

All practices are done mindfully, when the space is empty, well-ventilated, and with respect for sensitivities—because care is the foundation of true healing

The Walk for Peace at Truist Stadium in High Point, North Carolina, brought together more than 10,000 people on a cold winter day — not to protest, but to embody unity. Monks walked in quiet presence, saffron parasols glowed against the winter sky, and a shared field of calm, compassion, and reverence emerged.

Many never heard this walk took place — and that speaks to something important. Peace does not require amplification to be real. It exists beyond headlines, beyond ideology, and beyond division.

This gathering reminded us that peace transcends race, gender, belief systems, and geography. Whether someone has traveled the world or remained close to home, the language of peace is universally felt. It is human. It is ancient. It is innate.

At this pivotal moment in history, we are being asked to choose how we move forward together:
• Compassion over fear
• Presence over reactivity
• Unity over separation
