From sketch to story ✨➡️🐇

Every Ginger Gingerbread Lady creation begins long before the icing details and finished photos. This piece started with a hand drawing inspired by my client’s vision and evolved into an interactive edible art experience designed for the dessert table.

The artistic challenge? Creating a whimsical bunny burrow environment where chocolate bunnies could nest beneath the structure while still feeling elevated and immersive.

Hidden throughout the piece were secret interactive moments:✨ Crack-away isomalt panel revealing treats inside🔥 Two burn-away panels activated by guests📱 Hidden QR codes bringing the piece to life through animation

I love when clients give me creative freedom because custom gingerbread art becomes so much more than dessert… it becomes storytelling, experience design, and edible installation art.

Behind every finished photo are hours of sketching, engineering, hidden details, and creating magic no one sees.

Watch me hand-paint a fairy door with edible paints on a custom gingerbread creation that looks whimsical and effortless… but behind the scenes are advanced gingerbread construction techniques most people never see.

This piece included interactive elements, burn-away features, hand-cast isomalt windows that had to be cracked open to reveal hidden statement desserts, and structural design. Every element was intentional.

So yes — I am an artist.
