Feeling so grateful for the joy that baking has brought into my life! 🍰✨ Who knew that diving into cake-making years ago would lead me to the enchanting world of gingerbread? Seven years ago, encouraged by my amazing friends, I entered the National Gingerbread Competition in NC, and it opened up a magical journey filled with friendships and adventures I never expected.

Fast forward to today, after teaching some gingerbread classes at I am now part of an amazing team and baking part-time there, and I couldn’t be happier! 💖🎉 Here’s to creativity and the sweet surprises life brings! Photo Credit

✨ I created a special piece for The Gingerbread Festival in Morehead City, a fantastic fundraising weekend supporting Crystal Coast Hospice House. 🎄❤️

Last year, this incredible hospice cared for a dear friend’s dad, and this is my way of giving back. ✨

The Gingerbread Festival is not just a local tradition; it’s an event for all ages! Look for it next year as it will be there 13th anniversary- 🏡🎁

✨🍭 Excited to share my gingerbread creation titled “Rebuilding, Hope and Love” alongside the talented ! 🎄❤️ This piece is inspired by my mom’s beautiful quilts, which are truly a labor of love. Each stitch carries warmth and care, healing hearts and providing comfort in times of need.

As Western Carolina continues to heal after Hurricane Helene, we dedicate this gingerbread quilt to them—a sweet symbol of resilience and community strength. 🧡🏡

Though the National Gingerbread House competition in Asheville, NC was canceled this year, our creations will still be displayed at and throughout the community. (Starting Nov. 23rd) Check out their page for details!
