PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is a daily medication that can lower your risk of contracting HIV by over 99% when taken consistently. It’s safe for most people and crucial for anyone at high risk for HIV, including those with HIV-positive partners.

Getting started is simple: reach out to your healthcare provider (or the POSSE Team) to discuss your options and assess your risk and ensure regular testing for HIV and other STIs. Remember, PrEP is most effective when combined with regular testing and safe practices.

Finally, don’t miss our 13th Annual Pride Cookout on June 1 at South Forks Park Shelter from 4pm to 8pm. Our center is open Friday to Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
