The future is bright—and it’s inclusive! 💚

We’re so inspired by Summit School students Wren McKay and Noah Ward, who chose autism-related topics for their capstone speeches this year. Through their research and powerful presentations, they challenged harmful narratives and reimagined a more inclusive world for Autistic individuals.

Both students independently highlighted ABC of NC as part of their call to action—encouraging others to learn more and support our work. It's a powerful reminder that the next generation is already leading the way toward a more inclusive, affirming future.💙

We're excited to share that we've included both of their speeches on our Community Resources page on our website. We encourage anyone reading this to listen to each speech and be inspired by both Wren's and Noah's words.

We’re so grateful to see programs like adaptive swim lessons getting the spotlight they deserve 💙

Drowning is one of the leading risks for children with autism, and access to inclusive, supportive swim instruction can truly be life-saving. Programs like those at Salem Gymnastics & Swim are helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and stay safe in the water.
