Our Executive Director, Selene Johnson, spoke with WXII 12 NEWS this morning about how Medicaid cuts threaten vital autism services in our community, including ours.

Nothing beats the joy of bright lights, sweet treats, and big smiles! Our students had a blast exploring all the sights and sounds of the Carolina Classic Fair yesterday. 🎡🎟😁

For our students, the fair is more than just rides and games—it’s a chance to explore and make joyful memories. We were able to check out our art in the art exhibit portion of the fair, take turns on too many rides to count, enjoy classic fair food, and somehow, even won a goldfish! 🎨🎢🐟

It was an AWESOME day filled with so much joy, we can't wait for next year! 💙

We have to give a very BIG shout-out and THANK YOU to our friends at Merhoff & Associates Pediatric Dentistry for donating two dentist chairs for us to use at our clinic! 🦷💙

These chairs are more accessible for our students and allow them to become more acclimated to a dentist office setting. We're so grateful for the kindness of Merhoff & Associates Pediatric Dentistry! 💙

Whether through technology, pictures, signs, or words—communication is connection. October is Augmentative and Alternative Communication Awareness Month better known as AAC. 📲🖐️

AAC gives people the ability to share their thoughts, needs, and ideas when speech isn’t enough. AAC is access. It’s inclusion. It’s honoring every child's voice. This month, we celebrate the power of AAC and advocate for access to communication for everyone. 🌟

This October, we’re so excited to shine a spotlight on our Front Desk Coordinator, Pamela James! 🥰

She first joined our team as an RBT, where her compassion and dedication truly stood out. She has transitioned into her role as receptionist within the last two years, and she’s been doing an amazing job making it her own.📱🖥

From the moment you walk through the door or call the office, Pamela is often the first person you meet. She always greets everyone with warmth and kindness. She has a natural way of making people feel welcome and cared for, whether it is helping families feel at ease, keeping things running smoothly at the front desk, or offering a cheerful word to brighten someone’s day.😄

Her friendly presence not only supports our clients and families but also brings comfort and encouragement to her coworkers. She truly sets the tone for the positive and welcoming environment we strive to create every day. ✨

Kicking it with the best team around! 💙⚽

Over the weekend, folks from our team got to enjoy a little soccer action at the Carolina Core FC game! We must have been cheering so well (or loudly) that they put us on the Jumbotron. What can we say, our team is good at EVERYTHING, even cheering for the local soccer club.🤷🏻‍♀️

It was a night full of fellowship, laughter, and good times with the best team around! 💙
