Resident Spotlight: Esther Tesh

Esther was featured in a recent WXII 12 NEWS story highlighting Old Salem’s cherished Easter traditions.

Esther appears in the story as part of a group of Moravian band members playing in the Salem Moravian Graveyard on Saturday morning, as volunteers scrubbed gravestones and placed flowers in preparation for Easter and the Sunrise Service.

We love seeing Esther represent both Salemtowne and this meaningful Moravian tradition. 💛

The Sunrise Service will happen rain or shine, as the Moravian Brass Band music fills the air of Old Salem and God's Acre. Watch the program on WXII 12 here.

Assisted Living residents enjoyed an engaging journey through London’s rich history and vibrant present.

And of course, no visit to London would be complete without a taste of the cuisine… our kitchen team truly outdid themselves with a delicious Beef Wellington experience! 👏

Residents and team members came together for a lively talent show, sharing their unique skills and passions. From comedy to singing and even hula hooping, the afternoon was packed with energy, creativity, and plenty of memorable moments.

During Art Appreciation this month, they explored the work of Piet Mondrian, known for his use of simple lines and primary colors. Inspired by his style, each resident designed a section that came together as one stunning paper quilt.
