Job Description: RN to provide home health care services at the patient home.
Home Health nurses travel from a patient home to another to provide Skilled
Nursing services such as:
-Wound Care.
-Intravenous Medication Administration.
-Midlines/PICC lines dressing changes.
-Medication Management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assess and observe patient condition at each visit. Also to be able to chart in a manner of time.
-Complete evaluation task, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
-Provide education to patients and caregiver; teach caregivers on carry out routine care procedures.
-Coordinate with Physicians, Physical Therapies, Occupational Therapists and other individuals in the patient care plan.
-Skilled nursing according to Physicians Orders.
Skills And Qualifications:
-Strong interpersonal skills that will allow them to rapport and stablish trust between the nurse and patient.
-Initiative & Critical Thinking; to be able to make independent decisions when required.
-To be able to work in different living environment.
-Basic knowledge in computer.
Documentation Required:
-Florida RN license & Certification.
-BLS Certification
-Copy of Negative TB Test (TB Gold).
-Florida Drivers License up to date.
-Copy of Auto Insurance.
Nursing Requirements:
-Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree from a Licensed Educational institution.
Work Experience:
-6 months to 1 year of experience as a nurse. (Preferably).
Weekly schedule: Part-time. Some On Call weekends.
