I’m constantly reminded how much my patients impact me just as much as I hope to impact them. 💛

I have a patient currently fighting cancer who recently completed a 5-day water fast—and what stood out to me wasn’t just the discipline, but how incredible she felt afterward. Her energy, clarity, and strength were so inspiring that I felt called to experience it for myself.

Tomorrow, I’ll be finishing my own 89-hour water fast—and honestly, I feel AMAZING.

Clear mind. Steady energy. No crashes. Just a deep sense of calm and focus.

I’ll be breaking my fast with bone broth (keeping it gentle and nourishing), and I already know this is something I plan to incorporate once a quarter for longevity and overall health benefits.

A few things that made all the difference for me:
✨ Going low-carb, high-protein, and healthy fats the day before
✨ Starting every morning with my LMNT zero-sugar electrolytes (this was HUGE for my energy)
✨ Keeping my workouts consistent—but shifting to walking instead of running and lowering intensity on strength days
✨ Listening to my body instead of pushing through it

This experience reminded me that our bodies are incredibly intelligent when we give them the space to reset and heal.

And most of all—it reminded me how grateful I am for my patients.
Your strength, resilience, and willingness to try new things inspire me every single day.

I learn from you. I grow because of you. And I carry your stories with me.

ADHD is often treated with medication or behavioral therapy, but a major study suggests that diet alone can have a powerful effect. Researchers found that when processed foods were removed from children’s diets, ADHD symptoms dropped by 53 percent.
Processed foods include items high in sugar, artificial colors, preservatives, and additives. These compounds can affect neurotransmitter activity, gut health, and inflammation, all of which play a role in attention, impulse control, and mood regulation. By eliminating these foods, the brain can function more efficiently, leading to noticeable improvements in behavior.
Importantly, this approach is not about restriction or punishment. Families who replaced processed snacks with whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and proteins reported calmer behavior, better focus, and improved overall health. Repeated exposure to natural, nutrient-rich foods supports both brain and body development.
While medication and therapy still have their place, this study underscores the importance of considering diet as a first-line intervention. Making small, consistent changes in what children eat can have profound effects, helping them regulate attention, mood, and behavior naturally.

2025 Year Stats: Posted for Accountability + Motivation ✨
Not for bragging. Not for attention. But as a personal reminder of where I’ve been… and where I’m headed. These numbers represent a year of showing up for myself – mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. A year of choosing healing over habits, growth over excuses, and alignment over approval.

This year has been a journey to make myself as healthy as possible, inside and out. Every single day I work with patients who are fighting for their energy, their peace, their bodies, and their futures — and I never take that for granted. My goal has always been to give the best knowledge I have to help others live healthier, reduce medications, and feel empowered to change their lifestyles for longevity… but this year, I made sure I was leading from the front, not the sidelines. 🙏💪

And now, I’m posting my stats so that in 2026, I can beat them.
Not just maintain. Not repeat. Beat them.

Because 2026 isn’t just a new year for me — it’s the beginning of a new decade. My 60th year of loving, learning, rebuilding, evolving, and committing to constant and never-ending improvement.

If you’re feeling behind, start anyway.
If you’ve failed before, get up again.
If you think it’s too late — it isn’t.
You can begin at any time. You are not stuck. Your life is still yours. ❤️

Here’s to 2026 being YOUR best year yet — and mine too.
Let’s go get it. 🚀

🩸 It’s not just a bruise—it’s a biological switch.

We’ve all seen the purple circles.

From Olympic swimmers to your favorite CrossFit coach, cupping therapy has been trending for years.

Most people assume it’s just for deep tissue release or pain relief.

But a groundbreaking 2025 study just completely changed how we look at those marks.

Researchers published their findings in PLOS ONE, focusing specifically on university baseball players.

They wanted to see if cupping did more than just loosen tight shoulders.

They split the athletes into groups: one received real "dry cupping" suction (-400 mmHg), and the other got a "sham" version with barely any pressure.

They measured them for 8 weeks during intense preseason conditioning.

The results were wild.

The athletes who got the real cupping didn’t just feel better.

Their bodies physically recovered faster at a nervous system level.

The study found that cupping significantly improved the recovery of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS).

Specifically, it helped the athletes switch out of "Sympathetic" mode.

That’s your body’s "fight or flight" stress response—the state that burns energy and halts recovery.

And it switched them into "Parasympathetic" mode.

That’s the "rest and digest" state where actual growth and repair happen.

In the high-stress world of athletics, the ability to flip that switch quickly is the difference between burnout and a breakthrough.

So the next time you see those purple circles, don't just think "pain relief."

Think of them as a remote control for your nervous system. 🧠
