You might not actually be lazy.
You may just keep calling yourself lazy when what’s really happening is… finishing feels vulnerable.
Because finishing can mean being seen.�Being judged.�Actually succeeding.�Actually changing.
So instead?
You stall.�Overthink.�Get stuck at 80%.�Tell yourself you just need to “try harder.”
But sometimes procrastination is less about discipline… and more about what your brain believes finishing might cost you.
This is why productivity advice alone doesn’t always fix it.
I wrote more about why procrastination may have more to do with nervous system safety, identity, and subconscious patterns than laziness.

Sometimes it means you’re mentally overloaded.

Too many decisions. Too much pressure. Too much overthinking about career change, job stress, or whether you’re making the right move.

You don’t need to solve every thought you have.
Some thoughts aren’t problems.
They’re just noise your brain is producing when it’s overwhelmed.

Try this:
-say “clear sky”
-take one slow breath
-visualize your thought as a cloud and just observe it pass by

That’s where the shift starts.
