✨ Welcome to Occupational Therapy ✨
Occupational therapy sessions are carefully planned to help children feel calm, confident, and ready to learn all through play and movement.
We start by helping children calm their bodies with simple breathing strategies. This helps them feel safe, regulated, and prepared to participate in the session.
Jumping activities help the body feel organized and in control. Jumping provides calming input to the muscles and joints, while also supporting balance and movement. This type of movement helps children improve body awareness and prepares their brains for learning.
Crawling through a tunnel gives deep pressure input and helps children understand where their bodies are in space. It also supports coordination and motor planning the ability to plan and complete movements successfully.
After movement, children work on activities like letter matching. These activities help build focus, attention, hand strength, and coordination while supporting early learning skills such as letter recognition and sequencing.
Hands on, tactile activities continue to support body awareness and regulation, helping children stay engaged and comfortable throughout the session.
✨When the body is regulated, learning becomes easier.✨
