Meet our Mr Q.
A man rarely sick and hadn’t been to the hospital in over 50 years. He came to us initially for inpatient rehab after sustaining a severe stroke that affected his right dominate side as well as his speech. He was completely dependent on all ADLs, his transfer, bed mobility, and was non-ambulatory when he arrived. After his perseverance and hard work with the help of his therapists as well as nursing staff, he discharged home with his wife regaining so much independence. He has continued his rehab journey as an outpatient continuing therapy to make strides and “getting him back to what he loves.”
