I’m so happy the time has finally come to safely celebrate my beloved husband’s life, since his untimely passing on April 17th, 2020, at the beginning of the Covid outbreak when it was not safe to gather. — Come join the Nawada Family for Mass at our family’s parish throughout the years, St. Joseph’s Church and a lovely reception afterwards. A Final Farewell...

In 1978, Dr. C.U. “Kesh” Nawada, moved from the freezing cold weather of Chicago to Winter Haven, Florida. He came with his wife Christina and three children, with a fourth one on the way. He served Winter Haven Hospital and the Community for over 20 years by taking trauma calls in the ER, performing reparative or reconstructive surgery, and saving lives and limbs with hardly a trace of a scar. He took great pride in his work and made sure every one of his patients was treated with respect, care, and dignity, as if they were one of his family. Each patient was always welcomed with a smile and cracking a meaningful joke or three, if it was your lucky day...

In the second half of his Practice of 42 years in Winter Haven, Dr. Nawada turned to the more creative side of his craft, to focus on aesthetic plastic surgery. Over the years, he ended up making thousands upon thousands of patients feel better about their appearance, which gave them more confidence and happier, healthier lives. He was voted BEST OF THE BEST In Cosmetic Plastic Surgery four years in a row by the citizenry of Polk County, in The Ledger’s Annual People’s Choice Awards.

In November of 2018, out of nowhere, with hardly any warning or symptoms, Dr. Nawada was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, which toward the later stages of the disease, had metastasized to the liver. We are deeply saddened and heartbroken that Dr. Nawada lost his heroic battle with the cancer in April 2020.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering when it is safe to do so. We invite everyone who was his patient or was somehow touched with his kindness and friendship to join us in celebrating his amazing life when this is scheduled.

On behalf of Dr. Nawada and our whole family, staff, and surgical support team, it has been an honor to have served you during his time here in Winter Haven since 1978. Thank you for placing your trust in Dr. Nawada and our staff all these years. We will miss him forever and will miss you all!

Nawada Plastic Surgery will be permanently closed on December 31st, 2020. The facility will be in transition to a new owner and will be re-opened in early 2021. With the transition of the facility, the new owner will have custody of your medical records electronically. If you have been a patient in the past (7) years, from 2013-2020, by Florida Law, you can request your medical records from this 7-year period. Records can still be requested by calling or leaving a Voice Mail for now, at 863-293-2924 or stopping by the office upon reopening.
