The 447-bed hospital concentrates in the treatment of heart disease, cancer, stroke, and behavioral health. The hospital also provides emergency care, outpatient diabetes education, endoscopy services, neurological, orthopedic and in-patient rehabilitation, outpatient surgery and imaging services. Every month, our leadership team chooses from a pool of candidates to name a Team Member of the Month -- someone who exemplifies BayCare values through their work and their impact on patients, families, colleagues and visitors to our hospitals. In 2025, we named a TMOM for both clinical and non-clinical team members. At the end of the year, a Team Member of the Year is chosen, and of course, it isn't easy to choose from the best. Congratulations to Jubeth and Lucy for earning their TMOY award! We recently took some time to recognize our team members who are celebrating milestone anniversaries. Everyone gathered at Polk State College for an evening of food, fun and a little trivia! We're grateful for all 3,495 years dedicated to our hospitals, and special shout-outs go to Cheryl and Linda for celebrating 45 years and to Michelle, Karen and Merlinda for their 40 years of service! 💙

She's a member of the ED Observation team and was recognized by a family member of a patient for her care and extra efforts in comforting family members and ensuring they remained updated on the patient's condition. Our hospital is now providing the renal denervation treatment for high blood pressure. The innovative procedure targets nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause elevated blood pressure. During the minimally invasive procedure, the doctor inserts a very thin tube into the renal arteries and applies thermal energy to disrupt the nerves. https://bit.ly/3QmAvsk
