Winter Haven Hospital Foundation Celebrates our Veterans’
On Veteran’s Day, the Foundation and Winter Haven Hospital, distributed American flags along with an inspirational note to veterans. We gave them to more than 500 patients, visitors, and BayCare team members. Instrumental in the effort was the Spiritual Care Department. Chaplain Lang Yang, a veteran himself, helped fold and distribute the flags. As he handed Veterans the flags, it put a smile on their faces. Several of the patients thanked BayCare for remembering their services. Honoring the Veterans is one way to provide holistic healthcare. We want to thank our Veterans who have served our nation!
