Celebrating a leader who continues to make HERstory ✨🏥🩺
🩵 This Women’s History Month, we’re proud to recognize our CEO, Ann Claussen, whose vision and compassion have transformed healthcare across Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties.
Since 2014, Ann has led Central Florida Health Care through incredible growth, expanding access to care, creating hundreds of jobs, and ensuring thousands receive the services they deserve. From championing women in leadership to driving the vision for a future Diabetes Center of Excellence, her impact reaches far beyond our walls.
As a breast cancer survivor, her advocacy has helped bring life-saving mammography services to women in our community, making her leadership deeply personal. With a workforce made up of more than 80% women, Ann continues to empower, mentor, and open doors for the next generation of healthcare leaders, because when women are supported, communities thrive.
Beyond CFHC, Ann serves across our community as a leader with the United Way Health Steering Committee, United Way Upper Cabinet, Florida Association of Community Health Centers Executive Board, Crystal Lake Elementary Executive Cabinet, Empath Hospice Board of Directors, Polk County Homeless Coalition Governance Board, and as Chair of the American Heart Association Polk County Heart Walk.
Her leadership is more than a title; it’s a legacy of empowerment, service, and lasting impact. We celebrate not only her, but all women who are building a better tomorrow!🩷
