Only 14% of cancers are caught by routine screenings. Yes, you read that right.

This means most cancers are detected after symptoms show up. By then, treatment options are often limited.

A simonONE whole body MRI goes further: in just one scan, we look for over 300 types of cancer and review 100+ body structures—all without radiation or contrast dye.

It’s the most comprehensive way to catch cancers and other health risks early, before they become life-threatening.

Don’t wait. Don’t settle for routine. Get the full picture with simonONE.

September is also Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month - a proclamation made this year!
Ovarian cancer encompasses cancers of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the primary peritoneum, which is the tissue that lines the abdominal wall and covers the abdominal organs. Taken together, this group is the fifth leading cause of cancer death in women in the United States.😔
These cancers often go undetected until they’ve reached advanced stages. When symptoms do appear, they tend to be associated with other conditions. These symptoms may include persistent bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly and frequent urination. Knowing the early signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer can lead to early diagnosis and life-saving treatment.
Screening for ovarian cancer is difficult, but pelvic imaging and blood tests are currently the best tests for diagnoses. Increasing age and a family history of the disease are the strongest risk factors.
Talk to your doctor about your risks and any symptoms you may be experiencing! 💚

Head into the weekend with a healthy mindset, and to set you up for a successful week! 👍
📓Journal/Brain Dump - write down what you're excited about or what makes you anxious, and what you need to get done!
👀Review Your Goals Daily - this will prioritize your tasks and motivate you!
🕒Time Block Your Schedule - Schedule tasks in time increments so you know exactly what to do and how long you have to do it!
🧠Mindset Check-In - throughout the day or weekend, check in with yourself on how you're doing, and bring the focus back to the present.
📵Limit time on social media - set healthy boundaries! Spend time talking to people versus consuming other people's content.
Make it a great weekend, and enjoy! 🤓

While researchers don't completely understand the relationship between diet and prostate cancer prevention, studies do suggest that certain eating habits may help. According to John Hopkins Medicine, men should look into the following:
👇Reduce fat intake. Eat less trans fats and saturated fats.
🥦Eat more fruits and vegetables.
🍵Add green tea and soy.
🥩Avoid charred meat
Talk with your doctor more about what is right for you! 🤓

While x-rays have been around since the late 1800s, other types of imaging was discovered towards the end of the 1900's.
The first patient brain-scan done through CT scanning was performed in 1971. Today, there are over 78 million CT procedures performed each year. 🤓
Technology has become very powerful and more advanced over time, which allows us to diagnose and treat issues you may be experiencing. At SimonMed, we are proud to offer advanced technology while keeping exam costs affordable. 💙
