Connor is a true example of resilience, leadership, and heart. As the youngest member of the Pinellas County Council for Persons with Disabilities, he’s already making a powerful impact in his community.

Despite living with complex medical conditions and undergoing more than 45 surgeries, Connor continues to lead with positivity and purpose. A junior at USF studying Criminology and an Eagle Scout, his project brought beach and floating wheelchairs to Ft. DeSoto while planting 30,000 sea oats leaving a lasting impact on accessibility and the environment.

From advocating on Capitol Hill to enjoying roller coasters and all things Star Wars, Connor brings joy and inspiration wherever he goes. We’re honored to celebrate someone so extraordinary. ✨

Based in our Orlando region, David has been a valued member of our team since 2023. His dedication truly stands out, especially when his patient transitioned to independent living, extending his commute to an hour and a half. Through it all, David continues to show up with unwavering positivity and compassion.

At Atlantic Care Services, our Intake Team ensures every patient is registered with their county’s Special Needs Shelter. Each year, we also update and re-register our patients so counties have accurate headcounts and can better support those who need it most.

This proactive step helps ensure our medically complex patients are pre-qualified for assistance during emergencies—giving them and their families peace of mind and the ability to make the best decision for their safety. Evacuation to a shelter is always a choice, but having that option ready can make all the difference.

We’re excited to spotlight Mindy, who has been part of our family since 2022. At 36, Mindy brings a calm and thoughtful presence to everyone around her.

She enjoys peaceful days spent reading, playing video games, and occasionally listening to alternative and indie music. And when it comes to food, Indian cuisine is her favorite!
