Today we honor the lives lost, the heroes who stepped forward, and the resilience that continues to carry us through. Anniversaries like this can bring up difficult emotions, grief, sadness, anger, or even anxiety. It’s important to remember that these feelings are valid and that you are not alone.

Here are a few coping skills to ground yourself today:
🕯️ Deep Breathing – Slow, intentional breaths can calm the nervous system.
🕯️ Connection – Reach out to loved ones or a supportive community.
🕯️ Creative Expression – Write, draw, or paint what words can’t capture.
🕯️ Movement – Take a walk, stretch, or do gentle exercise to release tension.
