Our Story
"Mr. Vinny" graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders in 1999 and a Master of Arts Degree in 2002. He opened the Felice Center in April of 2012, which is named in honor of his father. Additionally, the meaning of "Felice" is happy, which is what we strive for our patients and their families. Vinny participates within the community for Nathanial's Hope, Down Syndrome Buddy Walk, Autism Speaks and Special Olympics Opening Eyes. This practice currently offers the latest technology and equipment giving our patients the best service on-site. FCPR has incorporated green technology through electronic medical records and billing for efficiency. It also offers well-rounded, experienced therapists and the best current rehabilitation available. All of our therapists are state licensed and board certified. We also specialize in American Sign Language, Assistive/Augmentative technologies, Beckman Oral-Motor Protocol, DIR Floortime, and Kaufman Speech Protocol. We also have bilingual therapists that speak Spanish and Italian. We take a variety of insurances, including Cigna, TriCare, BCBS, United Healthcare, Aetna, Advent Health/Rosen Hotels, Straight Medicaid, and CMS. We also accept grant scholarships from PLSA Gardiner program and Down syndrome Foundation. FCPR educates families on techniques utilized during each session to provide carry-over in daily activities. At FCPR, you will experience a calming and relaxing atmosphere. The waiting area is equipped with stress relief amenities such as free Wi-Fi and coffee for parents and caregivers. You and your children can enjoy teas, water and snacks.
