Florida’s HHAMFC program allows parents and relatives who meet the eligibility requirements to care for their loved ones and receive pay for carrying out those duties.

FHHAs must:
• Be at least 18 years of age,
• Be a family member of an eligible patient*,
• Complete an approved training program including BLS CPR, and
• Pass a state-required background screening.
*Eligible patients are under 21 for qualified Medicaid plans, and are authorized for Private Duty Nursing (PDN) services.

Tara has always loved playing an active role in her daughter Aubree's care journey. With Florida's Home Health Aides for Medically Fragile Children (HHAMFC) program, that goal can become a reality.

Tara recently joined the HHAMFC program, where she can care for her daughter and ensure she receives the best support and staffing possible. Aubree has been part of the Aveanna family since early 2020, and we are thrilled to continue supporting her and her family on this exciting development in her care.

Tara, we are so excited to welcome you aboard and can't wait to see the positive impact you'll continue to make on Aubree's life.
