Dr. Cohen practices all aspects of adult urology, with a strong
emphasis on urologic oncology, including laparoscopic and
minimally-invasive surgery and nerve-sparing prostatectomy
(which improves dryness and potency). He completed his internship
in General Surgery, followed by his residency training in
Urology, at McGill University Health Center in 2002. Subsequently, Dr. Cohen was awarded a pres
tigious postgraduate
fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the worldrenowned
M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Cohen
is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of
Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine in the Department
of Urology. Dr. Cohen also works as a Urologic Oncologist
within the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute (FHCI), where
his patients are enrolled in the most current national clinical trials
and he is a member of the multidisciplinary genitourinary tumor board. Dr. Cohen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology,
a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons
of Canada, and an active member of the Society of Urologic
Oncology. Dr. Cohen believes that the hallmark of good
medicine is the development of a strong doctor-patient
relationship based on trust and understanding. He will strive
to deliver the highest quality of urologic care in a
conscientious and diligent manner to all of his patients
