🌮🍓🍕 New group starting soon! Our Registered Dietitian, Alexandra Fleet, will be hosting an intuitive eating group beginning on Tuesday August 26th. This group is open to all residents of the 50 states ages 18+. It is a virtual group that will run for seven weeks and meet weekly Tuesdays at 7pm EST.

No previous knowledge of intuitive eating is required and you do not need to have an eating disorder to participate. This group will include thoughtful discussions, real-world applications, and a deeper dive into the tools that help rebuild trust with your body and foster a healthier relationship with food. Whether you're new to intuitive eating or looking to deepen your understanding, this group provides a safe and welcoming space to learn, reflect, and grow. 🎨🖌 New group starting soon! Our art therapist, Illyanna Soares, will be leading an in person expressive arts group out of our Jacksonville office location beginning on Wednesday August 20th. The group will run for seven weeks and will happen every Wednesday at 5pm.

This art therapy group offers a supportive and creative space for teens to explore their emotions through creative expression and metaphor. Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses the creative process to promote emotional growth, self-awareness, and healing. Participants will engage in a variety of art interventions designed to help them gain insight, understand, and express their emotions in meaningful ways. Through this approach, teens can access and process emotions in a way that feels both safe and empowering.
No prior art experience is necessary!

This group is open to individuals ages 13-17 and will be able to accept United Healthcare, Aetna, and Cigna insurance plans, or self pay options are also available. 📖 Today's book recommendation comes from our founder and CEO, Jess Huebner. This is an incredibly popular book amongst clinicians and clients alike, and for good reason. This book shook the foundation of how trauma is understood when it was released in 2015 and helped many clinicians better conceptualize trauma responses in the body and helped many clients understand their reactions better and how to manage them. If you've not given it a try yet, Jess highly recommends it! If you're struggling with either complex or single-event trauma, reach out to us today. Amber said this book was an amazing read and with how many of us deal with anxiety and worry, this is a great choice for someone looking to gain some knowledge on how to combat some of those feelings.
