Welcome Brianna (Bri) Johnson to the Restored Purpose Counseling team! 💚

Bri is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern seeing clients virtually across Florida and in person in Jacksonville!
She’s passionate about supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, substance use, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, and life transitions. Bri takes a holistic, collaborative approach—drawing from CBT, DBT, and ACT—to help clients find healing, balance, and purpose.
When she’s not in session, you’ll likely find her soaking up a sunrise at the beach, hanging out with her new puppy Maple 🐶, reading a good book, or exploring local spots around town.

Cassidy is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) who will be working out of the Winter Park (Orlando) office. We believe that marketing campaigns should celebrate all sizes, not perpetuate weight loss myths. Professionals in these industries should embrace diversity and inclusivity in all promotions. Health at Every Size (HAES) principles were first developed back in 2003 by the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH). They were most recently revised last year in 2024 and have served as guideposts for professionals and their work in order to perpetuate acceptance and compassion and reduce harm. When thinking about Weight Stigma Awareness Week, it is important to know and remember the HAES principles and advocate for yourself when seeking healthcare to ensure that you are treated with the respect you deserve. Professionals in the field can educate others they may meet who are not informed to ensure that the burden does not always fall on the patient to educate and inform on weight inclusive principles and guidelines. Dieting as a treatment rarely works and often harms. Let's promote health without perpetuating weight stigma. Focus on well-being, not weight.
