I am humbly proud to get to show you more of who we are, what we do, and WHY we do it 💗

We have a vision for you to thrive through your motherhood, not just survive.

To thrive through motherhood we need transformative maternity care that sees us through the journey as the profound rite of passage that it is.

We need to be able to slow down and meet ourselves in reverence.

We need traditional postpartum care that ensures our transition into motherhood supports a level of wholeness and wellbeing that lasts far beyond our childbearing years.

✨ Sacred Birth, this practice I get to share with these incredible people, is devoted to nurturing growth through our motherhood journey. We exist for those of us who want to walk this path while meeting a deeper version of ourselves ✨

✨OUR GROW CIRCLE IS GROWING! ✨

We are thrilled to share with you that we are evolving our Grow circles to facilitate deeper learning and transformative discussion for our clients.

Most of you know that creating the container for you to do the inner work is our main intention. Supporting your growth in body, mind, and spirit and inviting you to meet a deeper version of yourself is why we exist!

We have been diligently working behind the scenes to bring YOU, our SACRED BIRTH CLIENTS, two new groups. 💗

🪷 Heart Circles: Nurturing the Inner Journey

Our Heart Circles will be facilitated by our dear friend and former Sacred Birth client, Samantha Kay, LMHC. Sammi, as she is better known, is an experienced mental health therapist whose passion and expertise is focused on the perinatal and postpartum time. Heart Circles are supportive, therapeutic groups designed to provide opportunities for deeper, more experiential inner work.

Planned topics include:
-Breaking Cycles: Doing the Work from Within
-Calm Waters: Managing Anxiety & Fears in Pregnancy
-Nurturing the Nest: Healing the Nervous System
-Embracing the Change: Cultivating Self-Compassion in Pregnancy

-Resourcing Parenthood: Building Support Systems for Expectant Parents

🌀Wisdom Circles: Deep Learning on the Path

Our Wisdom Circles will mostly be led by Michelle Isla, LM, and will be an opportunity for a deeper dive into essential topics in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum that have been overlooked in standard maternity care (and our society at large) but play an important role in achieving an empowered birth and postpartum experience. Michelle, our founding midwife, has a strong passion for, and commitment to facilitating wisdom and personal growth workshops for the last 15+ years.

Some topics will include:
-The Wisdom of Traditional Postpartum Care (aka the “Cuarentena” or First Forty days)
-Physiologically Preparing for Birth (Spinning Babies)

In the gentle embrace of water, she surrenders to the rhythm of creation, each wave guides her deeper into communion with her body, her spirit, and her baby. The water becomes a sanctuary— a space that honors her journey, that dissolves the boundaries of pain and invites her into profound connection.

As she releases to the water’s healing, her tension fades, and an inner peace arises. She becomes one with the divine rhythm of birth— empowered and deeply attuned.

This is birth as it is meant to be: sacred, supported, transformative.

The postpartum time is an ancient, sacred chapter— a time when a mother’s body and heart are still Open. Raw. Vulnerable.

In these early weeks, she is called inward to be with her healing, and her baby. This is the time of “cuarentena”, an ancient tradition that invites rest, nurturing, and patience as her body, mind, and spirit transition into motherhood.

In this season, she deserves gentle tending within her own nest, away from the world’s noise and haste…the postpartum time carries its own rhythm. With reverence and warmth, we come to her, carrying the ancient wisdom of postpartum care.

This is more than care; it is a reclamation of her innate wholeness and a profound honoring of the sacred journey she is on. 🌼✨

Sacred Birth was born out of the intention to support & encourage deep growth for women during their childbearing years. This continues to be the vision of Licensed Midwife Michelle Isla who recognizes this transition as being a profound rite of passage and aims to give everyone she works with an opportunity to experience their true potential. Michelle has served Central Florida families since 2004. She is a home-birth mother of two girls and feels passionate about upholding & preserving birth as a sacred experience for both mom & baby and empowering families to birth with confidence. She is fluent in Spanish and is proud to also offer midwifery services to Spanish-speaking families in the community.
