When Matthew first joined our team, he quickly showed his commitment in every role and his growth has followed. Now, he’s been promoted four times and leads as Executive Chef! That trust came not just from leadership, but from peers who brought his name forward before the position was even open.

Our residents turned out in style for a Bastille Day brunch that channeled the charm of the Champs-Élysées with French bites (and plenty of joie de vivre!). A big shoutout goes to our Executive Chef Matthew, because oui, we’ll be talking about this one for a while! 🇫🇷

On Thursday, July 24th at 3:30pm, Watercrest Winter Park is hosting a School Supply Drive to benefit children in our community. Residents, associates, our families and friends are coming together to give back! Every item collected will help set a student up for success.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting acclaimed cellist, Rose of Mallare Music, for a lovely afternoon of live string music! 🎶🎻

Rose has travelled with the St. Jerome’s Chorale to perform at the Vatican, is the first Filipina Rockette, and was a part of Lady Gaga’s world tour. We're so grateful she stopped by to share her exceptional talent!

Declan Williams didn’t wait for a title to lead. Long before stepping into his role as our Associate Executive Director, he was already showing what leadership looked like: walking a resident’s spouse safely to her car, offering calm guidance to new hires, showing up early without being asked, staying late.

His first day began at the front desk with keys in hand and a quiet determination to grow. Since then, he’s held nearly every frontline role: Concierge, RCS, Med Tech, Resident Lifestyle Director, and in each one, he brought the same steady intention: lead with purpose, not position.

What makes this promotion especially meaningful? The people who helped shape it. In the video, mentors Sheena Jeffries and Kim Haddon reflect on the trust, encouragement, and day-to-day modeling that helped Declan step into each new chapter.
