Mindset is such a powerful thing. I found an old journal while organizing my workspace. I flipped through the pages and stumbled on this note that stopped me in my tracks. Lately life has been so busy I’ve fallen victim to my survival mode and with it I started to notice some bad habits creeping in. Particularly a scarcity mindset where I was starting to let limiting beliefs become louder than my optimistic self.
I’m glad I stumbled on this little note because it’s exactly what I was starting to forget.

Skincare doesn’t have to be complicated. You can start to pamper your skin with these easy steps.
1️⃣ Know your skin type
As we age our skin can become more dry and sensitive. A good rule of thumb is to avoid scented products since fragrance is the most common skin irritant in beauty products.

2️⃣ Make it a routine
In order for any product to deliver results you need to be consistent. This is why, with skincare, less is more.

3️⃣ Hydration
The most important thing you can do to protect your skin barrier is to protect it with hydration amd avoiding harsh chemicals

4️⃣Keep it simple
Cleanse, hydrate, sun protection should be your main focus. You can later on add on tailored active ingredients depending on your particular skin concern.
Remember, less is more!

Happy Father’s Day to all the hard working dads out there!!
My dad has been a living example of hard work, perseverance and joy. Before I came to this world he survived being deployed to Vietnam war followed by a decade of serving as a police officer in Puerto Rico. Growing up I clearly remember how he worked with my mom as a team to raise me and my siblings in a household full of love. Their number one priority was meeting all of our needs. From him I learned first hand to always be of help to those around you and to do it with a smile. Today I’m beyond blessed to be able to celebrate him on more year. ❤️
