We want to welcome Dr. Caroline Basta, she has been a great addition to our office and patients love her!
Dr. Basta graduated from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. She returned to Central Florida this Summer to make it her home.
Dr. Basta speaks English and Arabic. She is sweet, gentle and funny. Her people skills have made our big and little patients feel comfortable.

Happy Birthday and Celebration Farewell Dinner!
Our Hygienist Ilianet got accepted to the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine Advanced Placement Program for Internationally trained Dentists.
Dr. Alvarez did her Doctorate Degree in Cuba and has been working hard, day and night between work, taking tests, being a mom and having a family. Ilianet has treated our patients and coworkers with respect, kindness and compassion. She filled our days with positivity and love. She will be greatly missed. We are so happy and proud of all your hard work!

What is in your toothpaste? Most people just just pay attention if the toothpaste has or doesn’t has fluoride. But what is SLS? SLS stands for sodium lauryl sulfate, a synthetic detergent and surfactant that is commonly found in toothpaste
Some people may experience allergic reactions or increased sensitivity to SLS, manifesting as recurrent aphthous ulcers, canker sores, or a burning sensation in the mouth. It can also create generalized brown stains in some patients. Therefore, there is ongoing debate and research regarding its potential adverse effects on oral health.
