Dr. Albert Asante
Meet Dr. Albert Asante, one of the Center for Reproductive Medicine’s board-certified fertility specialists. Dr. Asante covers a wide range of reproductive endocrine conditions with a particular focus on IVF, amenorrhea, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), premature ovarian failure, recurrent pregnancy loss, and fertility preservation. His philosophy – to provide the best possible, individualized, and compassionate care to each individual!
Asante grew up in Ghana, West Africa as an only child. He watched firsthand as his parents struggled to have a second child. It was at that time, at age 13, that he decided he would one day become a doctor and help couples struggling with fertility. This small dream took him to the University of Ghana, Harvard University, Emory University, and last but not least, the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Asante has won multiple awards over the years and was the recipient of the 2016 Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence in Teaching Award. He has presented his research at national and international meetings and received the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists 2013 Industry-Funded Research Fellowship in Infertility Award. Additionally, Dr. Asante is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), The Society for Gynecologic Investigation (SGI), and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).
